Editorial: News from the director!

Hey Gang!  So here's the latest on what our community is up to!  

Meeting at UCoH in May!

We've enjoyed the space of meeting at Unity Church of the Hills the last couple of months.  Joe Nicol's Palmistry class for May 31st will however be the last time we will meet at Unity.  Come June, we will be back at Cathy's house!  Thank you Unity and Cathy for your help!

BBK & Master Minds

The Begin By Knowing Metaphysical Marketing Classes with Mark Horn went very well!  We had our live event and enjoyed working together, networking and the start of a new little business community within our community.  

From this beginning spawned some Master Mind sessions.  If you are unfamiliar with what a Master Mind is, you can read a very nice article on the subject here.  It's often used in business now.  However it could be for parenting or charity work.  Whatever there might be that two or more people would like to come together over.  We're just holding the space right now to support our practitioners.  

We also have a growing little community going on in our Metaphysical Marketing Facebook Group where we all share news,  information, support and tips with each other.  To be clear, the group's purpose is not for marketing to each other.  It's purpose is to help share information that will help each of us grow, make our business lives easier, figure out how to get the word out about our businesses (market) without doing business the way many of us dislike, etc..  The nice thing about these services is that your location does not matter.  You can find community and support any time and from any where.  :)  But the best benefit is in sharing/participating.

The Newsletter Survey

Thank you all for the survey responses so far as I begin the work to revamp the regular website and the design of this newsletter!  

The times are full of transitional energies and this is certainly true for our community as well.  We are growing and with that comes more responsibility, taxes and bills.  There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen!  My goal is to finalize a new layout/way of getting the newsletter done by end of summer. Along with that, I will be rolling out some new features that will both enhance our goals as a ministry and help TSRT make financial ends meet.  Maybe even thrive.  Maybe someday create a real school.  Wouldn't that be cool?  That is, this is my summer goal along with selling our house and moving before school starts back again (prayers please - we need a buyer!).  As Mark Horn would describe this during a master mind session, it's a S.M.A.R.T. goal.  Something specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound!  So watch for changes over the course of summer break as we move along.  I'll be keeping my work loosely organized in order to remain flexible and allow for the moving I plan to be doing too!

What I would like to emphasize is that though I will be making some changes, those changes at all times have to remain aligned with the vision and purpose of my ministry through TSRT.  If it's not aligned with that essence, it won't be happening.  Some of you expressed a concern for the newsletter not to become too commercial.  Though I gotta pay the bills, and technically run it as a business, trust me, I don't want that either and I think I have some solutions.  On the other hand, though I am a minister, I do not want to become a church or charity.  That is not in tune with what TSRT is supposed to be either.  

Percentage wise, we didn't receive a lot of participation from our community on the survey, but what input we did get was spread widely across the board.  Still, there was some definite insight, especially amongst the detailed comments some of you left (and thank you for that!).  For now I'll keep the survey up, but will begin implementing changes to the newsletter based on the input received.  The survey is completely anonymous, by the way.  No information of any kind is collected other than your answers.  And you are still welcome to participate.

PLEASE NOTE! TSRT is meeting temporarily at Unity Church of the Hills on Anderson Mill Rd. March - May of this year!

This also means we must end class on time and leave the building shortly after 9pm!  As a result, the lecture portion will end around 8:45 so there is a little time to talk to the teacher and visit before having to exit the building.  Please help us stick to our schedule and move any visiting out to the parking lot after 9pm so the staff can lock up - thanks!

BIO: JOE NICOLS

Joe Nicols has spent over 45 years in the study of palmistry and psychic development. He has been a full-time professional psychic for 28 years.
